Mr. Bone is a Texas-registered Professional Engineer and Certified Petroleum Engineer with over 40 years of experience in domestic and international oil and gas exploration, development, and reserve evaluation. His expertise spans a wide range of technical disciplines, including reservoir engineering, reserves auditing, and economic analysis.

Throughout his career, Mr. Bone has led reserves management for internal and external reporting, year-end audits, and bank redeterminations. He has extensive experience coordinating with thirdparty reserve consultants to ensure compliance with SEC and PRMS standards, and he has consistently delivered technically sound, defensible reserve estimates. His leadership has been integral to corporate reserves valued at more than $7 billion.

Mr. Bone is known for his rigorous, “tee-to-green” evaluation approach, beginning with pre-drill prospect and economic analysis, continuing through drilling and formation evaluation, and culminating in post-drill reserve booking. His work has encompassed reservoir evaluations across most U.S. basins and select international projects, including Mexico. Notably, he has contributed to significant discoveries in deepwater Gulf of America and offshore Mexico.

In addition to his corporate roles, Mr. Bone serves as an independent consultant, specializing in reserve evaluations, reservoir engineering, and technical advisory services.
